Our Initial Process:

You place your job order with us.

In addition to searching our database of active job seekers for qualified candidates, we also review the records of inactive prospects (individuals who are non-local, or employed elsewhere, etc.), and head-hunt if appropriate. We also actively advertise your opening(s).

For specifics on our direct hire placement process, please contact Floater Staffing. All in-house recruiters can discuss available options.

Current Recruitment Trends:

Current Alberta statistics show our unemployment rate to be at 4.3%. Economists define full employment as no more than 5%. This means that Alberta is currently operating above the full employment status. This makes partnering with staffing providers critical to your bottom line. Since candidates' preferences have changed, recruitment delivered internally is no longer as fast or as efficient as it previously was. New applicants no longer present themselves individually to employers in numbers. By concentrating your search solely on currently active job seekers, newly identified staffing needs do not always net the better applicant. With a qualified database, built over time, more applicants can be quickly reviewed and presented, with a greater variety of experience.

We also help to source foreign labor, with a certified immigration specialist as a member of our in-house team, we are well positioned to ensure that workers new to Canada are recruited legally.
