Shelving and Racking Specialist – Calgary

We are recruiting for our customer who requires a warehouse shelving and racking specialist to start IMMEDIATELY. The successful applicant must have working knowledge and experience installing and maintaining different warehouse racking and shelving systems such as Ezrack, Redirack and Econorack. Applicants must also have working knowledge of pallet trucks. Forklift experience and certification ideal.

A working foreman, you will supervise a small crew. Project sites include all Calgary industrial areas.

A valid drivers license and fresh abstract abstract are essential.

This 1 month project has great potential for full-time employment with this customer.

Graveyard Warehouse Positions to Fill Immediately

We are recruiting for Warehouse positions for a company in northeast Calgary.

We are looking for able bodied people to work the graveyard shift (11:00pm to 7:00am) nightly. This position requires heavy lifting therefore we ask that applicants be physically fit and willing and able to do physical labour. Steel-toed work boots are a must.

Start Time: this shift starts at 11:00pm am and is from Monday night to Saturday morning. Shift is normally 8-hours but there may be some overtime hours.

CLASS 1 DRIVERS needed.

ARE you a Class 1, people-oriented high energy person? The company we represent has an excellent and established reputation throughout Canada and the United States. They are committed to expanding their Calgary marketplace and are looking to hire 8 to 10 full time day shift drivers.

Duties will include doing in-city (Calgary) deliveries to grocery stores and various institutions and businesses. Routes are between 12 and 20 stops per day. In addition to route deliveries you could / would be required to do some sales and customer service on your route as most drops will be one on one contact. You will also be responsible for some payment transactions every day with customers. Your clientele will be a very diverse assortment of companies ranging from small mom-and-pop corner stores to multi-national grocery chains. You will also be dealing with many restaurants, catering companies, vending machine companies, event venues such as the Saddledome and the Stampede grounds, hospitals and nursing homes, schools, colleges, and golf courses.

In addition to the above most days will be 8 to 10 hours duration. Start and Finish times may vary and may start as early as 3:00am and finish as late as 8:00pm. Hours per day will be determined by hours needed to complete deliveries and paperwork.

Required skills:

Valid class 1 driver’s license
1 to 2 years in- city driving experience preferred
Clean driver’s abstract
Working knowledge of Calgary and surrounding areas
Able to operate a GPS mapping system
Good communication skills
Physically fit as you will need to be able to lift packages between 5 and 60 lbs
Basic computer skills helpful
Salary to be discussed after interview. Company will provide safety training and ongoing training. Company benefits will be available.

Year-round Landscaper

Our established Calgary customer requires year-round landscaping help. Managing both commercial and residential projects, you will have at least 2 years landscaping experience.

You will be the working supervisor of a 2 – 3 person crew, you must be physically fit, be prepared to work outdoors in most weather conditions, be capable of scheduling work, and provide a clean drivers abstract. You will also have summer experience with sodding and lawn maintenance and winter experience with snow removal. You will also have experience working with different summer and winter power tools and their maintenance.
