  Our client is looking to hire a 4th Class Steam Engineer or Certified Building Operator with an inter-provincial A-class certificate. This is a 3 month term project located in NW Calgary. Federal Government security clearance is mandatory for this position. Project to start ASAP.

• Health and Safety Officer in Laos

  Our customer, currently constructing a major hydro power station in Laos, requires a health, safety and environment officer immediately. You will develop safety policies and procedures, oversee the program, conduct on-site inspections/audits, accident investigation, training and documentation.

  Reporting to the project management comprised of three (3) international partners, this project will require your services until autumn 2012.

  Minimum requirements:

  Bachelor degree in safety or industrial engineering
  Current Safety certification in the U.S., Britain, Canada, etc.
  Heavy civil engineering construction experience
  Physical fitness level suitable for field work.

  Construction of hydro facilities including dams, tunnels, electrical/mechanical equipment installations an asset.

  Compensation:

  $10,000 plus, per month, paid in U.S. dollars.
